Loaded Roast Beef and Bleu Sliders

Roast beef, sautéed mushrooms and onions are covered in bleu cheese and smothered in horseradish sauce on Hawaiian rolls and baked until gooey.

  • 1 lb. or about 2 c. leftover beef roast
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • olive oil
  • ¼ c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. horseradish sauce
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. Hawaiian Rolls
  • 4 oz. Bleu Cheese1 stick (1/2 c. butter)
  • 2 tsp. poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp. dehydrated onion
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. steak sauce
Here's how...
  1. In a saucepan, add onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the olive oil. Sauté until soft and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, horseradish, and pepper.
  3. Slice the rolls in half and spread the sauce onto the bottom half. Add beef, and then the mushrooms and onions. Crumble bleu cheese over the top.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine butter, poppyseed, dehydrated onion, sugar and steak sauce. Pour the melted butter and seasonings over the sandwiches.
  5. Cover and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 minutes and uncover and bake 5-10 minutes more.
