My absolute 🍓favorite tradition🍓happened today because yesterday, we drove by the house of one of our favorite local farmer's and acquired first-of-the-season strawberries! We messed up our shirts with strawberry juice on the way to my sweet man's softball game and then today -- TODAY-- I made these biscuits and we had all-you-can-eat Strawberry Shortcake for a MEAL!!
This recipe and tradition is in honor of Lureen M. who let little me reside in her home often when I needed it and taught me that it was more than okay to enjoy dessert for dinner -- to celebrate the bounty! She passed away 3 years ago almost to the day and I remember her each June with love...
