I have topics I’d love to open up for discussion with you for the remaining days of my 91 Little Things challenge to write something every 4 days for one year. I’ll need your help to accomplish this! One is to discuss some of the things no one told me. Please chime in!

Maybe it’s me, but I think I’m way past the point of “I’ll figure that out at some point.” I’m not sure when I became an adult that is so adult-y that it’s now embarrassing to ask certain things while simultaneously always having an excuse for why I’m too old to figure that out.

What did people do before YouTube when they needed to know how to fold a fitted sheet, for instance? I mean, I can certainly make it fit onto a pile and I’ve been shown by friends, but the struggle is real, friends.

Once upon a time, a friend of mine whipped one of those ridiculous shapes of bed-fabric into a tidy little square in front of my very eyes and since then, I have determined to get it right — to no avail. This friend also then proceeded to fold the flat sheet within the fitted and make the most beautiful sheet-packet you’ve ever seen. Like this video (click here) but BETTER!

So, one day, a young friend and I determined to do it. We got out sheets and we watched videos and we used our millennial-middle-aged-combo-brain-pack and we failed miserably. Ours looked much like this (click here) — you’ll want to watch this video just for the entertainment value.

I can, however, whip a duvet cover on like a pro once I figured out this technique. If you haven’t used this, you can thank me later. It’s life-changing (click here).

What things do you feel like you should know by now but don’t? What do you wish someone had told you? I’d love your ideas for future installments of this series. Drop a comment below! :o)

Mac & Cheese

The

Once upon a time, there was a girl who just wanted creamy, cheesy mac and cheese. Not full of spices or fancy things, just plain ol’ gooey mac and cheese. As such,  The Mac & Cheese was born.  Alison's recipe has become our claim to fame—standing strong as the Most Pinned Mac & Cheese Recipe on Pinterest.
