Serves: 1 cup

1 c. sugar
½ c. corn syrup
½ c. water
2 T. heavy cream
1 tsp. cinnamon
⅓ c. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Here's how...
In a 3 qt. pot over medium heat whisk together the sugar, corn syrup, water, 2 T. heavy cream and cinnamon.
Bring this mixture to a boil and then cook, stirring constantly for 8 minutes. The pot is large to accommodate the bubbling up of the mixture. If it's bubbling up too much, lower the heat and continue stirring. After 8 minutes, remove from the heat and add in ⅓ c. heat cream and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Serve warm and store in the refrigerator.
