Superior Smoked Whitefish Dip

Serves: 8 servings
- 2 c. smoked whitefish or smoked fish of choice.
- 12 oz. cream cheese with the following ingredients:
- 2 T. real mayonnaise
- 2 T. lemon juice plus zest if desired
- ½ c. onion diced very fine or grated if preferred
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T. fresh garlic
- ½ tsp. dill weed or 2 T. fresh dill (or to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Thin rice cakes, crackers, rye toast, or bagel chips.
- Gently break smoked fish into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Use a hand mixer to blend remaining ingredients well. Cool for 2 hours before serving.
- Serve with crackers and lemon wedges.
