Serves: 5 dozen
Grocery List
  • 1 c. butter--no substitutes
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • ⅔ c. peanut butter (plus a bit extra)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
Here's how...
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter, peanut butter, and sugars for 2 minutes or until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture until well combined.
  6. Roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet a couple inches apart.
  7. Use a fork to make one indentation on the top and then put the fork into a bowl of sugar to coat with a bit of sugar and make the next indentation at a 90 degree angle.
  8. Continue with each cookie.
  9. Bake for 8-9 minutes or until just barely golden brown on the edges and just set in the middle. For a crisper cookie, add a bit more bake time.
