Serves: 5 dozen
Grocery List
1 c. butter--no substitutes
1 c. brown sugar
⅔ c. peanut butter (plus a bit extra)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Here's how...
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix the butter, peanut butter, and sugars for 2 minutes or until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
Mix dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture until well combined.
Roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet a couple inches apart.
Use a fork to make one indentation on the top and then put the fork into a bowl of sugar to coat with a bit of sugar and make the next indentation at a 90 degree angle.
Continue with each cookie.
Bake for 8-9 minutes or until just barely golden brown on the edges and just set in the middle. For a crisper cookie, add a bit more bake time.
