1 c. Milk
¾ c. water
½ c. butter
5 c. flour
4½ tsp. yeast
1 tsp. salt
¼ c. sugar
Here's how...
Warm milk, water, and butter over low heat until the butter has melted. Cool until lukewarm.
Mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Add the lukewarm liquid to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Grease two baking sheets with butter.
Form 12-15 balls of dough about 3-4 inches in size by flattening the dough slightly, keeping the top smooth, and tucking the ends under.
Let them rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
