It’s a scary world out there right now! We all know that we are being force-fed FEAR like it’s a food source. Face masks and sanitizers are flying off the shelves and I have a feeling that most of us feel torn between trying to press down the panic and being drawn to the drama. I wish I never had to hear the word Coronavirus ever again.

My sweet man and I listened to a message this morning from one of our very favorites and if there was ever a time to hear these words, it is today. I am going to give you a few of the highlights, but I am also going to tell you that it has inspired us to take a 40 day fast from FEAR. How in the world do we do that, you ask? Well, to quote Kris, “Fear is faith in the wrong god!” I am tired of living like shoes are about to drop which is a mindset I’ve had since I was a little girl. Aren’t you? So, every time we start to listen to words of fear and let them try to settle into our spirit, we are going to replace them with words of hope and faith and truth! We override our knee-jerk reaction and replace it with confident truth.

Here is the message — give it a listen.

I promise it applies to everyone! I mean, tell me the last time someone encouraged you to do a fast where every time you were afraid, you ate chocolate instead! :o) It starts today. We are putting down the feelings of foreboding and recalling to our mind all the truth so we can choose hope — it starts today.

“Faith finds an opportunity in every problem. Fear finds a problem in every opportunity.”
