Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow.

The little orphan Annie couldn’t have said it any better.

Tomorrow we leave for the craziest trip that our family has ever attempted. Without any real set point of return, we packed our 1988 Fleetwood Jamboree to the gills with everything that we could possibly need within the next 8 weeks. And tomorrow, we’re off!!

This past week has been an insane amount of packing. In case you didn’t know, motor homes require a lot more than just the simple things you’d pack to go on a vacation. On a normal vacation for us, we’re packing just the regular; toothbrush, toothpaste, and underwear. This time, we’re packing towels, spices, silverware,  and super thin one ply toilet paper; which also makes SUPER good hand-soap mandatory (:

Usually, we have a detailed list of every place we’re going to be, activities planned and reserved for when we get there, and a hotel room waiting for us after a long day of driving. But this time it is going to be a little different. We recently became the proud owners of a 1988, 28 foot, motor home. We named her Mable, because even though we have only a rough idea of how to work the pipes, tubes, switches, valves, and buttons that Mable contains, we are believing that Mable is able to take us across the country and back again. Call us crazy, because we pretty much are.

Because we are first time RV’ers, we are pretty much gonna look like the biggest noobs alive for the first portion of our trip, but we are embracing the inner noob and setting off with only a very brief test run and miscellaneous website’s advice to guide us.

I, Addie, have been given the job of blogging every ‘appropriate’ moment of our trip across the country and back. By the end; you might be jealous, OR you may be extremely happy that you are fortunate enough to enjoy our experiences with us from behind the safety of your computer 🙂 either way, you should definitely keep up with us, and comment if you’ve read our post!

Mac & Cheese

The

Once upon a time, there was a girl who just wanted creamy, cheesy mac and cheese. Not full of spices or fancy things, just plain ol’ gooey mac and cheese. As such,  The Mac & Cheese was born.  Alison's recipe has become our claim to fame—standing strong as the Most Pinned Mac & Cheese Recipe on Pinterest.
