So, as a part of my continued effort to change my world to a more natural one, I have been working on making great cleaners for around my house from inexpensive products. I have my new favorite cleaner for wiping counters, the stovetop, the kitchen sink, and general bathroom cleaning.
Three easy ingredients and you can have it, too!
What you’ll need: Castille soap. I have gotten mine online and at my local health food store. You pay per ounce and can choose your scent. My favorite so far is peppermint–especially for cleaning.
You will also need tea tree oil. Great stuff for many things. It’s a natural disinfectant so those germs are goners.
Lastly, water.
And, that’s it.
Get your great spray bottle (the dollar store ones always fail me) and put water most of the way to the top. My spray bottle is just over 25 oz. so adjust your amounts accordingly. It’s not an exact science.
I added in about 1/4 cup. of castille soap, and 25-30 drops of tea tree oil and then fill the rest with water.
Then, when you need to use it, give it a shake and enjoy the cents-on-the-dollar, chemical-free aroma that doesn’t take your breath away.
