As I was pondering this day’s post and considering all of the New Year’s reflections and resolutions and *one word* themes I am hearing from around the socials, I found this post from what feels like a hundred years ago, when my youngest was just a little teenaged darlin.
And I decided that to me, this is the most relevant. In this crazy life, I’ve found the one word that cuts all the bad things down and puts them in their place. It’s some steps up from gratitude and thankful because it acknowledges not just that the attitude and focus need to shift, but WHO gives the gifts for which to be grateful.
Fear cannot be present in a Hallelujah heart. Sadness can’t either. Neither can worry, or complacency, or panic, or loneliness, or any of the other states we stagnate in here and there. Can you imagine a new year absent of those? Read and consider.
Happy New Year, my friends…
