Buttery, sweet, cinnamony peaches that melt in your mouth. Made with 3 ingredients (plus peaches) this may be the simplest dessert you’ll ever fall in love with! Elegant enough to serve for guests and simple enough to indulge in all for yourself. It’s like having your own little peach pie without the crust and without the work!

I bought a big ol’ bag of fresh Michigan peaches the other day, and though I did throw some slices in the freezer for later, I only regret that I haven’t made these sooner in my life. My sweet man and I decided it may be our favorite new treat. And I use the word *treat* carefully, because sweetened only with honey, these beauties hardly even fit in the dessert category, but taste like pure decadence!

Here’s all you do, friends…

Preheat your oven to 375.

Slice a peach (one whole peach per person) all the way around and then twist it to create halves. Carefully, pull the pit out and discard.

In a baking dish, arrange the peach halves, peel down. Add 1/2 T. unsalted butter to the middle of each open peach. Drizzle with 1/2-1 T. of honey. You can also use brown sugar if you prefer, but we found that the honey is delightful! Sprinkle with cinnamon to your liking — I used about 1/4 tsp. per peach half. Add a few grains of kosher salt (use a very light hand!) to each peach half and pop them in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a fork says they’re as soft as you like your peaches! I did find that a super-soft bake is my preference for eating, but if you leave a tiny bit of firmness to the fruit, it is easier to cut and therefore to eat.

These are best served warm. You can definitely add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. But we like them in all their pure, peachy goodness.
